Sony is set to release its 2019 line of high-end televisions – although they won’t come cheap.

The Japanese electronics manufacturer released pricing and availability for the sets, with top billing going to an 8K-capable Master Series Z9G model topping out at an almost incomprehensible $70,000 for 98-inches of 8K perfection. Mercifully an 85-inch version begins at a relatively wallet friendly $13,000.

The Z9G is packed with Sony’s X1 Ultimate processor which will handle upscaling lower resolution content to help drive the 8K 7,680 x 4,320 display pixels. Sony suggests the chip is capable to “analyse each object in the picture” in 8K resolution. These sets also feature 8K X-tended Dynamic Range PRO and Backlight Master Drive “with full-array local dimming”.

For consumers happy to settle for 4K sets, Sony’s Master Series A9G OLED line comes at a starting price of $3,500 for the 55-inch version and $8,000 for the 77-inch model.

The devices are set for a June release.
