Civil Society Leadership Awards

The Civil Society Leadership Awards (CSLA) is now open for application from candidates who want to carry out post-graduate studies. Exceptional students who have strong commitment to make positive social changes in their communities are encouraged to apply.

Application Deadline: May 31

Students from ADB member countries are called to apply for the Asian Development Bank-Japan Scholarship Programme 2020. Selected students are funded to take master’s degree in the School of International Health at the University of Tokyo in Japan. The candidates are required to have relevant degrees and professional working experiences for at least two years in the field of health or medicine.

DAAD and TU Berlin Scholarships
Deadline: April 1

The TU Berlin Scholarship, supported by DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) are now open for application. The four-week 2019 Summer Programme will be held from July 22 to August 16. It will feature 3D Scanning and Printing, Blue Engineering, Satellite Design, Energy Revolution, Introduction to Artificial Intelligence, Space Robotics, Startup Crash Course, Surveillance Technologies and Transformation Theory and Computation of Composite Materials, and Virtual Reality and Exercise Gaming.

Alan Musgrave Scholarship in Philosophy
Deadline: September 1

The Alan Musgrave Master’s Scholarship in Philosophy offered by the University Council is open to all international students to pursue a master’s degree programme in Philosophy at the University of Otago. The candidates are required to have a good command of the English language and have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy.


Climate Tracker Photo Contest 2019

Climate Tracker is creating a photo contest on five different themes related to health and climate change including air pollution, vector-borne diseases, climate change-induced disasters, food security, and migration in order to emphasise on the impacts of climate change on human health. Anyone who is passionate about photography and climate change is invited to take part in the exciting competition.
