At the same event, Bacchus Kun Khmer Champion Kong Sambo of Kingdom Fight Gym lost to Zhang Chenglong in his ONE Super Series kickboxing bantamweight match-up. After three closely-contested rounds, Zhang earned a split decision victory.

Across the region at WLC: Mighty Warriors in Mandalay, Myanmar, Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat defeated Cambodian Top Team fighter Pich Mtes Khmang in their World Lethwei Championship bout. A superb head kick knockout secured victory for the Vietnamese fighter.
