To further promote education and enhance the capacity of Cambodian youth the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training and UNESCO jointly held the official launching of the first learning center of “Basic Education Equivalency Programme” on February 17. “BEEP” was initiated to provide a flexible alternative to out-of-school youth in Cambodia to complete lower secondary or basic education, and be able to create a better future for them.
