Defence Minister General Tea Banh today said that talks with Thailand on the demarcation of border posts went on smoothly and there are no disputes.
Gen Banh and his Thai counterpart General Prawit Wongsuwon today presided over the 14th General Border Committee meeting in Phnom Penh, which mainly focused on security along the border with Thailand.
Gen Banh told reporters after the meeting that the meeting went on smoothly and progress was made on issues related to the border between both countries.
“Technical teams from both sides are working well together and we are cooperating to solve any problems relating to the border,” he said.
“We considered it as a special meeting because we reviewed our work along the border and found that we have made good progress.”
