Prime Minister Hun Sen today said that the government opens space for dialogue with other political parties and non-governmental organizations to build and develop the country.

Speaking during the 40th anniversary of the January 7 victory over the Khmer Rouge at Phnom Penh’s Olympic Stadium, Mr Hun Sen said that the government is working to develop the country.

“The Royal Government opens dialogues with other political parties, and civil society groups to build and develop the county,” Mr Hun Sen said.

Mr Hun Sen, National Assembly president Heng Samrin along with hundred thousand of students, civil servants and armed forces participated in the 40th anniversary of the January 7 Victory day at Olympic Stadium.

Mr Hun Sen said that the government is committed to maintain peace and development while the country has harmony.

“We are committed to maintain peace and all achievements we have built. We won’t allow any forces to destroy it,” Mr Hun Sen said.
