Members of the Boxing Federation of Cambodia wrapped up a training course for officials at the headquarters of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia.

40 referees and judges, including two women, participated in the National Referees & Judges course with the cost borne from a special budget allocated by the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports.

Training, which lasted three days, was conducted by Thai trainer Champahom Chattuchai on behalf of the Amateur International Boxing Association (AIBA).

The course offered participants details of international technical regulations, instructions on the role of the technical staff in the venue, a presentation on officiating procedures, and the process of judging and refereeing.

The active Secretary General of the Cambodian Boxing Federation Mr. Sophoan Buy also attended to support all participants and organised the key issues of the event.

Cambodia sent boxers to the last edition of the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships in Bangkok and boxers regularly compete in international events as well in 2018.
