The interior ministry’s General Department of Identification announced that three new provincial passport offices will open in June.

According to the statement on Thursday, May 17, passport offices will open on June 6 at Battambang’s Sangke district, Poipet’s Banteay Meanchey and Koh Kong’s Khemarak Phoumin city.

The shortest processing time for a quick-service passport is one day in Phnom Penh and three days in the provinces.

The intermediate-service issuance of a passport now takes seven days instead of ten, and normal service now only takes 15 days – five less than before.

These services are available at all locations.

The service fee is unchanged.
