The ruling Cambodian People’s Party will take part in the meetings of the Standing Committee of International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) and the Asia Europe Political Forum (AEFP) in London. The meetings begin on May17 and end 0n May 20.
The CPP announced that Khuon Sudary, a member of its Standing Committee, will lead the participating Cambodian delegation.
At the AEFP meeting the delegation will discuss Asia-Europe partnership, regional cooperation and connectivity of political parties, disaster relief, combating major diseases, promoting affordable and clean energy, mitigating climate change and preventing environment degradation.
The CPP delegation will discuss a host of issues relating to regional and global peace with the ICAPP Standing Committee to better assist the ICAPP in achieving its goals.
The delegation will also address the establishment of the Asian Cultural Council, whose establishment was initiated by Cambodia, China, Nepal and Russia.
