Local and international performers danced and sang together at the center stage, encouraging everyone to clap their hands and to stamp their feet. The colourful lights are on and the music echoes around. Last Saturday night, NagaWorld’s NABA Theatre has, indeed, come alive. Fully alive.

Starting with an elegant red carpet welcome for celebrities, models, Miss Cambodia winners and finalists and spectators, Naga2 opened its state-of-the-art NABA Theatre anew last Saturday to kick-off this month’s stage production spectacle.

Cambodian star Sokun Therayu also performed at NABA Theatre.

The May show inside the kingdom’s first 3D video mapping performance theatre cast spotlight on local artists and international performers that the multi-award winning integrated resort has pulled out from other continents to bring a world-class event at a world-class venue.

The audience was given the best show there is – electrifying dance moves, dizzying acrobatic acts, puzzling costume switches, powerful song renditions, soothing violin performance. NABA Theatre’s Entertainment Spectacular didn’t fall short of talents that went beyond expectations – a proof of genuine entertainment.

Ethiopian brothers Kirubel and Natnael, collectively called the Icarian Gamers, had people glued on their seats. The duo showed off stunts – foot juggling, flips, somersaults and swirls – that left everyone’s mouth open for five minutes. And it didn’t come as a surprise how the talented brothers’ passion for circus stunts radiated as they performed in front of Asian audience for the first time. Kirubel and Natnael have under their belt a Golden Buzzer feat from Spain’s Got Talent.

Another pair who took the spotlight and commanded full attention was the Ukrainian Wonder-Changers. The double act featured baffling quick costume switches, so quick you won’t even have time to wonder how they did it. They also bolstered the team of incredible entertainers for free daily performances at various stages in NagaWorld.

The dancers and singers, who regularly give the theatre’s audience dazzling performances, completed the ensemble. With new costumes, new choreography, new musical scores and definitely better production, NABA Theatre’s entertainment show has easily become a top go-to affair for people who want to give themselves a well-deserved time for fun and unwinding. And why not? This offering doesn’t come with any price.

This month’s free shows – starting at 7:30 pm from Wednesdays to Sundays – is just one of the many gifts NagaWorld brings to Cambodia as it celebrates its 23rd anniversary in the hospitality industry. Come and join the celebration!
