HARARE (Xinhua) – At least 41 people were injured in a blast that rocked a campaign rally for Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa in the country’s second-largest city of Bulawayo on Saturday. The blast occurred shortly after Mnangagwa finished his speech at the rally.The Zimbabwean leader escaped unhurt, but several senior government officials attending the event were injured and taken to the hospital. Police said an investigation into the rally blast is underway.
