One of 4 Chinese robbers arrested

The Preah Sihanouk provincial police arrested a Chinese national on Friday night, June 22, on charges of robbery.

According to the National Police report, four Chinese men contacted the victim (a taxi driver) via WeChat.  They relieved him of $500, ID cards, and his vehicle documentation at gun point.  They then fled in a Rolls Royce.

The police investigated and arrested a suspect at CASA Entertainment Club, while other three Chinese men are at large.

The suspect was identified as Ly Ker Xing, 24 who is a driver for a casino in Sihanoukville.

The police found $500 which belonged to the victim. A hand gun and the vehicle used to commit crime were confiscated from the suspect’s possession.
