The Governor of Kandal province Kouch Chamroeun, ordered all Unity Committees to continue to pay high attention to cracking down on drugs, gangs, illegal gambling, traffic accidents, and the use of illegal weapons in their locality.

He made this instruction in the meeting to review the results of August and the implementation of direction implementation for September of the Kandal Provincial Administration on Tuesday.

Regarding the issue of drugs and gangsters, Chamroeun requested that the Unity Command at the provincial, municipal, and district levels continue to implement measures to disseminate, educate, guide, and take legal action as strictly as possible.

Traffic safety procedures must be implemented on target roads in accordance with the law, and to continue to crackdown on all forms of illegal gaming at the grassroots level without exception.

In addition, the provincial governor reminded the police and relevant departments to monitor all advertisements related to illegal gambling places at the local level.

If any media outlet publishes false information, it must be summoned to clarify the publication content, and the continuance of educating people not to publish untrue information that pollute society because it wastes resources and time of the authorities to investigate and crackdown on something that is not true.
