The Ministry of Public Works yesterday donated 800 million riels to Kantha Bopha Hospital and the National Pediatric Hospital to celebrate three years since the Ministry started issuing customised license plate numbers for vehicles.

Speaking during the handover ceremony, Minister Sun  Chanthol said the donation comes from the revenue collected from vehicle owners who pay to have their plates customised with their favorite numbers.

Chathol asked the two hospitals to continue to treat the children so that they could become the country’s human resources in the future.

The Directors expressed their deep gratitude to the Ministry of Public Works and Transport for the donation and promised that the funds would be used to strengthen and improve the quality of health services and treatment for the people.
