Dancing for dignitaries

A high-level delegation from Malaysia, led by Tan Sri Dr Ales Anor, a senior aide to the prime minister and chairman of Prima Group, was feted at a banquet and treated to a dance performance at the Malaysian Embassy in Phnom Penh last Saturday.

The 30-strong delegation included Deputy Minister of Transport, Datuk Ab Aziz bin Kaprawi, former minister of Federal Territories and Urban Well-being Dato’ Raja Nong Chik bin Raja Zainal Abidin, speaker from the state of Perak, UMNO representatives from Perlis and other states as well as retired military and police officials. The delegation was on a private visit to several areas in Phnom Penh and other provinces such as Kampong Chhnang to provide humanitarian aid and other social work.
