NagaWorld got back to winning ways in Sunday evening’s Metfone C-League highlight registering a 4-2 victory at the Olympic Stadium.

Goals from Anderson Zogbe, Mat Norotin and a brace from George Bisan were enough to put paid to Police hopes of springing a shock against the title chasers.

The win is a morale-booster for the casino-side who gave up their unbeaten record in last weekend’s 3-0 defeat to upstarts Visakha.

Their latest win means Naga continue to keep up the chase of table-topping Boeung Ket in the league standings. Naga, on 22 points, sit in second behind the defending league champions on 23 points. Visakha, on third and with 19 points, ensure there is a challenge to their duopoly.

Elsewhere on Sunday, Privat Mbarga stole the headlines, claiming a rare double hat-trick to lead Asia Europe United to a 6-1 win over Western. The Cameroonian struck his first hat-trick in the first half before claiming another haul in the second half. The fea brings his tally for the 2018 season to 13 strikes in just nine games.

In Sunday’s remaining fixture, Ministry of National Defense put four past Electricite du Cambodge in a lopsided 4-0 victory.
