Boy sex victims ignored

NEW DELHI (Reuters) – Indian states are ignoring boys in compensating child victims of sexual abuse, the federal government said yesterday, weeks after the government was criticised for overlooking males in a new law mandating tougher punishment for raping of girls. “The male child of sexual abuse is ignored and needs to be included. Abused boys get no financial help, the Ministry of Women and Child Development said.
