Over the past few years, we have seen a steady increase in the number of national and international music and art schools. In particular, music education in Cambodia is becoming more popular.
“Simphony School of Music and Art, is a music training school for Cambodian and foreign children and has been established for nearly 10 years,” said Ms. Hun Chealeng, General Manager of Simphony School of Music and Art.
“The increase in the number of music schools in Cambodia has made competition more intense. But what sets Simphony apart from the rest is the quality of its teaching. We have one of the best music teachers and that is a key factor for any music school,” she added.
“Simphony has professional music teachers, with extensive experience, from Japan, Indonesia, United States, Taiwan, Philippines, England, Slovakia and France.”
To promote the arts and music in Phnom Penh, Simphony has opened a new branch in Aeon Mall 2 Sen Sok City.
“The special feature of this new branch is that we have included a course in Khmer traditional music,” said Ms. Chealeng. “We hope Simphony will be able to contribute to the development of Khmer traditional music and encourage students to play traditional musical instruments.”
