Architecture expo kicks off

The third edition of the Cambodia Architecture & Decor Expo kicked off yesterday, providing a platform for architects, interior designers and property developers to exchange ideas on the latest innovations and trends in the sector.

Under the them ‘Design for better workplace and living’, the three-day event is being held at Diamond Island Convention and Exhibition Centre in Phnom Penh.

The event is organised by ICVeX Co Ltd with the cooperation of the Cambodia Society of Architects.

“This edition of the exhibition will showcase our potential to local and international investors,” said Phuoeng Sophean, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Land Management, during his opening remarks.

“It serves as a platform to share new concepts, products and ideas.

“The expo is a perfect example of cooperation between government and the private sector, both local and international, to elevate standards in the industry,” he added.

Chinakit Viphavakit, general manager of ICVeX, said over 150 companies will display their products.

“There will be many activities during the three days of this exhibition, including technical seminars and conferences, a networking dinner and a design competition,” Mr Chinakit said.
