The Cambodia Women Entrepreneurs Association (CWEA) recently held an event to mark its sixth anniversary and also to endorse its newly elected board. The event was opened by the association’s president, Oknha Keo Mom, who gave a report summarising the achievements made during her mandate. This was followed by remarks from Nhem Morakat on behalf of the Minister of Women’s Affairs.
The newly elected board members took their oaths and made speeches outlining how they would like to help the association, and thanked the members for entrusting them with the work of serving on the governing board of the CWEA.
Videos were screened to commemorate the achievements of the outgoing board and expressing appreciation and gratitude for the hard work of the outgoing president, as well as to the association’s sponsors and partners.
Since the CWEA’s sixth anniversary coincides with the Mardi Gras holiday, the CWEA invited hardworking businesswomen to a Mardi Gras-themed masquerade ball.
The event was sponsored by Jaguar Land Rover, Raffles Hotel, Bred Bank and Hot Shoes.
