The University of California, Berkeley, is launching a free, four-week online course on effective business writing, helping students to write effective business letters, memos, and reports, understand the best approaches to formatting business documents, streamline content for maximum effectiveness, as well as make their points clearly and confidently.
ICTP master’s in advanced studies

The University of Queensland (UQ), Australia, is offering PhD scholarships to Earth Sciences students. Successful candidates will advance their understanding of Earth Sciences by tackling a globally significant problem, get research support, such as allowing research support funds to be used to provide a six-month scholarship extension, and other international activities in terms of international conference presentations, field workshops, and laboratory work.
Women’s photography grants

Women Photograph is inviting women from around the world to apply for 2018 project grants for women & non-binary photographers. Applicants can apply to one of two projects. The first requires contestants to submit a story, rather than standalone images, as part of the grant application, and second needs candidates to submit portfolios of 20-25 images.

GreenEd project is recruiting volunteers to teach environmental studies to young students at the assigned schools, Kdey Takoy and Prek Pra Kraom primary schools, located in Chbar Ambov district, Phnom Penh. Expected to commit for a one-semester teaching period from May to August, volunteers can choose either morning or afternoon sessions, teaching every Saturday.
