Four Cambodians rescued in Laos

The Consulate-General for Cambodia in Laos’ Pakse province has helped repatriate four Cambodians who were detained for various offences, including the illegal use of explosives, illegally marrying and illegally crossing the border. 
According to a statement from Foreign Affairs Ministry spokesman Chum Sounry, Cambodia’s consulate in Pakse coordinated with local police in Champasak to repatriate the four men. 
Mr Sounry added that two of the men from Stung Treng province were accused of using explosives without permission. One young man from Battambang province was arrested after illegally crossing the border and marrying a local woman. 
The last man from Stung Treng province was arrested for using a Lao family book to illegally get married in Laos.  
Mr. Sounry said all the men had arrived in Cambodia after being released by Lao police.
