Cambodia donated $100,000 as emergency assistance to Sri Lanka to help the victims of a deadly landslide that hit the island state last month.
According to a press release obtained by Khmer Times today, Prime Minister Hun Sen sent a letter to Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, saying Cambodia and the Cambodian people sent their condolences to Sri Lankans whose family members lost their lives in the landslide in late May.
“I would like to tell you, the Royal Government of Cambodia would like to share $100,000 in emergency aids for victims,” Mr. Hun Sen said.
