Meridian International Holding in collaboration with The Ascott Limited extended their support to Earth Hour by organising a series of events from 8.00AM to 9.30PM on Saturday at Casa by Meridian, on Koh Pich, Diamond Island. For the first time, Casa by Meridian celebrated the worldwide movement organised by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in Phnom Penh. The upscale property at the same time took this opportunity to engage with guests, residents, employees and business partners to encourage turning off non-essential lights for an hour, raising awareness of the need to act on climate change as well as a symbolic gesture to mark the Earth Hour 60+. All employees and residents took part in a 9-km Go Green Cycling programme passing through the main street and surrounding Diamond Island. About 50 participants attended a low-key, candle-lit get-together by the garden dedicated to Earth Hour.
