Boeung Ket ensured they go into the three-week international break on top of the Metfone C-League pile as they slammed five goals beyond National Police Commissary on Sunday evening.
The 5-1 win at the National Olymic Stadium saw the defending C-League champions maintain their 100 percent record.
Despite the handsome win, Boeung Ket coach Hao Socheat said he hoped for a better performance.
“Since the start of the season we have been focusing on improving at the back and we are more organised now than we were before,” he said. “In both the league and the AFC Cup we we conceded many goals and we need to tighten up at the back.”
The club famously made regional headlines after suffering a 9-0 defeat to Ceres Negros of the Philippines in their AFC Cup group match last month.
The league now enters an international break, resuming on April 7.
