The Metfone C-League returns for its second matchweek this weekend with Boeung Ket making the trip to Western Stadium to face Western FC tomorrow afternoon.

Coach Hao Socheat returns at the helm of the defending C-League champs as they look to build on a confidence-boosting first group win earlier this week over Home United of Singapore. In contrast, Western will be eager to avoid a fate like their last outing – a 6-0 hammering from National Police Commissary.

Newly-promoted Soltilo Angkor were Phnom Penh Crown’s victims last weekend as they fell 1-0 in their opening match. The Siem Reap-club will look to bounce back against Asia Euro United tomorrow.

Meanwhile, new-look Ministry of National Defense meet Phnom Penh Crown in tomorrow’s final tie. The Army side got their season off to a fine start last weekend with a 1-0 victory at Olympic Stadium over Angkor Tiger.

National Police Commissary, who last weekend blasted six unanswered goals past Western, face Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng on Sunday. Also on Sunday, Electricite du Cambodge and NagaWorld both seek their first victories, while newly-promoted Visakha look to build on last weekend’s 4-0 win against Angkor Tiger.
