Prime Minister Hun Sen will take part in the 12th Asia-Europe Meeting, which will take place in Brussels from 18 to 19 October, 2018.
Speaking to thousands of garment workers in Kandal province on March 7, the premier said that president of the European Council, Donald Tusk, and the president of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, sent him a letter in January inviting him to ASEM.
He added that he is writing a letter of acceptance to the EU, saying “After forming a new government, we will go to join ASEM. I am writing a letter confirming that I will attend.”
He also plans to pay official visits to a few European countries as long as he’s over there.
