NagaWorld yesterday announced the signings of a duo of Nigerian attackers ahead of next weekend’s opening round of the 2018 Metfone C-League – Cambodian football’s top tier competition.
Bisan, 26, joins his fifth C-League side after previous stints at Boeung Ket, Phnom Penh Crown, Asia Euro United and last season’s campaign with Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng.
After impressing at Boeung Ket, he was signed by Phnom Penh Crown in 2013. He formed a lethal partnership with South African Shane Booysen and the pair netted 47 goals in their 2015 league winning campaign.
After a trial in the FLC Cup, Bisan moved to Vietnam’s Than Quang Ninh, but found appearances hard to come by and returned to the Cambodian league soon after.
Okoro is a scorer of 38 goals in three seasons and signs after a spell at Western FC.
Naga recently allowed 2017 C-League top scorer Atuheire Kipson to leave the club for a shot at the Malaysian league and it is hoped the pair can fill the void left by the fearsome Rwandan hotshot.
Bisan and Okoro fill the remaining two foreign player slots available to Naga, Anderson Zogbe of the Ivory Coast, Han Sung Gyu of South Korea and Tatsuro Inui of Japan are the other foreigners registered with the casino-backed side.
