Phnom Penh to serve up junior tennis tournament

Phnom Penh’s National Tennis Centre and the Cambodian Country Club will host the Tennis Cambodia ITF Junior 2018 tournament starting tomorrow.

Spanning two-weeks, more than 100 tennis talents from around the world will meet on the hard courts.

Thailland’s Yuttana Charoenphon will be the one to beat in the boy’s category, while China’s Xuanjin Li tops the girls’ seeds.

Cambodian tennis officials estimate that 12 boys and four girls will take part in the two-week competition, with Khleang Punlok, Tep Timothy and Cheang Vannasith three of the more notable names competing.
