The Facebook pages of CPP lawmaker Hun Many have been hacked after many attempts to take over the pages in the past few days.

According to a statement from his secretariat on Wednesday, the Facebook pages named Hun Mani and Hun Many were hacked on Wednesday and are now controlled by the hackers.

The prime minister’s son has more than 160,000 followers on Facebook.

The statement added that the hackers tried to take over the pages many times over the past several days.

Mr Many, who is also president of the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia, has filed a complaint with the Interior Ministry’s Anti-Cybercrime Department and asked them to investigate and to try to get the account back.

Mr Many called on his supporters and Facebook users to be careful and to consider any posts from the account as fake news created by the hackers.
