Free online course on writing for young readers

Curious students and aspiring young authors who have deep passion for writing for young readers are encouraged to take the free online writing course from the Commonwealth Education Trust. The participants will have ten to twelve extracts of writing to develop into a portfolio. They will be guided with a combination of video lectures, online readers, peer reviews and guest appearances from world-renowned children’s book authors.

ICTP master of advanced studies scholarships

WMF Empowerment Through Education scholarships

Students from developing countries are offered scholarship opportunities by the Wells Mountain Foundation, through the Empowerment Through Education (ETE) programme, to pursue undergraduate studies in their home country or at a neighboring country. The Wells Mountain Foundation believes in the power and importance of community service so all candidates are required to volunteer for a minimum of 100 hours a year.

The Dr Goh Keng Swee (GKS) scholarship is a private sector scholarship administered by the association of Banks in Singapore (ABS). It was set up by the financial community in Singapore in honour of former deputy Prime Minister Dr Goh Keng Swee, who fostered Singapore’s economic development and growth. Approximately three scholarships are awarded each year to outstanding individuals from 15 Asia Pacific economies (which includes Cambodia). World Youth Essay Competition

The WYEC 2018 is organised in an effort to harness the energy, creativity and initiative of the world’s youth. It also aims to inspire society to learn from the young minds and to think about how each of us can make a difference in the world.
