The element of earth will become very important to all Chinese zodiac signs this year, bringing more prosperity, stability and groundedness. To also usher in prosperity, NagaWorld is offering diners its special prosperity menus at the award-winning Chinese restaurant Fortune Palace (Level 1, NagaWorld) and the newly opened The Hall of Golden Chimes (Level 5, Naga2). Both places are serving the sumptuous ‘Prosperity Yee Sang’, a quintessential Chinese New Year appetizer dish in Southeast Asia, featuring either salmon, tuna or clam for dine-in or takeaway with the option to top up with lobster or geoduck clam sashimi. Savouring the Prosperity Yee Sang requires some specific actions from the diners known as “Prosperity Tossing”.

The plate of neatly arranged ingredients are mixed together by tossing them high with chopsticks, accompanied by phrases of Chinese blessings, to welcome the Lunar New Year with good luck, fortune and abundance. It is known that the higher one tosses the ingredients, the more blessed tat individual will be for the year. Meanwhile ‘Poon Choi’, a traditional Chinese seafood casserole signifying abundance and affluence with premium ingredients such as lobster, abalone, sea cucumber and scallops, is available at the Hall of Golden Chimes at Naga2.

Fortune Palace offers two ‘Prosperity Set Menus’ for up to 10 persons, making it the ideal choice for business luncheons, group dinners or family gatherings. Banquet menus are also available for bigger company functions during this festive season held at NagaWorld’s Grand Ballroom and meeting rooms.
