Foreign Affairs Minister Prak Sokhonn will attend this year’s Asean Foreign Minister’s Retreat, which takes place in Singapore from Feb.4 through Feb.6.
The foreign ministry’s press release, issued on Feb.2, declared that the retreat will reflect on the resolute and outward-looking process of building the Asean community.
The statement added that the ministers will confer on how to strengthen cooperation with external partners.
During the retreat, the attending foreign ministers from the diverse Asean member countries will discuss the priorities facing Singapore’s chairmanship. They will also exchange views on key issues that could pose threats to peace, security, and stability in Southeast Asia.
