Scott Bywater aka Scoddy finally launched his debut “From Shore to Shore” album at Oscar’s at the Corner, on Saturday.

Joining Scoddy at the album launch was Moi Tiet, a rock band formed by the Tasmanian-born Australian two years ago. “From Shore to Shore” has 13 original compositions and is Scoddy’s collection of songs covering his songwriting years from 2007 to 2014.

It also features performances by Kak Channthy (Cambodia Space Project, Channthy Cha Cha), Marianna Hensley (The Hensley Trio), Conrad Keely (Trail of Dead), The Kampot Playboys and many, many other members of the Cambodian music scene – the scene which Scoddy has been such an important and central part of since his arrival in Phnom Penh in 2008.

Scoddy and friends have spent months preparing, producing, recording and mixing “From Shore to Shore” in the Links studio complex near Olympic Stadium, Phnom Penh.

“From Shore to Shore” is available for download from, or on CD (with download) at Scoddy’s gigs. Tonight, Scoddy Acoustic Trio will be at Alchemy and Riverside Raybans will perform at FCC tomorrow.
