Turk accused of vehicle thefts

IMMIGRATION police in Preah Sihanouk province are hunting an undocumented Turkish man who stole a car and a motorbike from locals in Prey Nup district’s Ream commune on Wednesday night.
Police said Gokay Alici, 31, stole the Toyota Camry and a Scoopy motorbike in Ream commune.
He was described as a person with mental health problems who lives without legal papers and often causes trouble.
Khun Sorithy, deputy provincial police chief in charge of immigration issues, said, “We are pursuing the case. I cannot comment right now.”
Ouk Hai Seila, head of investigation and procedure at the general immigration department, said he was not aware of the case yet.
