Battambang drug raid nets two

Two men were arrested in Battambang city yesterday for selling drugs out of their home in Chey Koung village, Sla Ket commune.
 
Ly Sovann, an officer with the Battambang provincial military police, said police raided the apartment and found 13 packages of crystal methamphetamine weighing half a kilogram, two drug scales, six phones and one motorbike. 
 
According to police, Va Sitharen, 37, and Vo Vuthy, 28, worked as karaoke bar entertainers in Battambang town and sold drugs there. Both were accused of drug trafficking and were sent to Battambang provincial court for questioning today.
