Military leaders lash out against Rainsy’s incitement of RCAF

Cambodia’s military leaders expressed outrage and condemned over ex-opposition party leader Sam Rainsy, who is living in self-exile in France, called on the army to turn their cannons to oppose the legitimate government.

 Speaking at a press conference today, General Pol Saroeun, commander-in-chief, said military will file complaint with the court against Mr Rainsy after he posted on his facebook page, inciting the army not to follow the order from the commanders.

 Gen Saroeun said after being observed all news relating to national security through social media and other broadcasting about incitement of the convicted Sam Rainry, who has tried to incite the armed forces to protest against and help in the overthrow of the Royal Government of Cambodia, the legal action would be taken against him.

 “On behalf the cammander-in-chief , we will prepare legal document with our lawyers to take legal against him following the Cambodian laws.” He said.
