China promises defence aid

The Chinese Army has pledge to provide a school building for Cambodian air defence forces in Kampong Speu province as well as other military assistance.

Major General Zhao Tianxiang, Commander of the Air Defence Force and Artillery Academy of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, said the Chinese Army would help to build the school.

He pledged to further strengthen ties with the Cambodian military at an official meeting with Royal Cambodian Armed Forces commander-in-chief General Pol Saroeun on Monday in Phnom Penh.
