BERLIN (AFP) – RB Leipzig have rejected an offer of $86.4m by Liverpool for Naby Keita and insist the Guinea midfielder is not for sale.
Leipzig finished second to Bayern Munich last season and are keen to keep their main playmaker for their Champions League campaign.
Dietrich Mateschitz, boss of Leipzig’s main sponsor Red Bull, said:
“We were flattered at the offer – but no way! He still has a contract and he will fulfil it.”
