Prime Minister Hun Sen and Chinese Premier Li Keqiang were at the Peace Palace in Phnom Penh on Thursday holding two separate meetings after a busy morning for the Chinese premier.
Yesterday Mr Li attended the second Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Summit.
On Thursday morning Mr Li went to lay wreathes at the Independence Monument and paid his respects at the Royal Memorial to his Majesty Norodom Sihanouk.
The visit of the Chinese premier will further enhance China-Cambodia ties and coincides with the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Cambodia, officials said.
After the meetings, both sides will sign 19 documents included an MoU and agreements which focus on infrastructure, electricity, loans, agriculture, vocational training, a new airport in Phnom Penh and launching a satellite.
They will also launch three projects including the love heart journey, a grant aid project for building the Cambodia-China Friendship sections at Preah Kossamak Hospital and Tbong Khmum Provincial Hospital, and a conceptual design of Siem Reap Angkor International Airport.
The Chinese premier has also been granted a royal audience by King Norodom Sihamoni before ending his visit to Cambodia and flying back to China in the afternoon.
